DOMINIC VITO COSIMO GEORGINO
aka NICK GEORGINO

My Biography

Shortly after graduation I joined the Navy and was assigned to Sub-Pac, and their Special Services Div. With them I played Baseball and Boxed, which included tours in Hawaii, Mexico City, Acapulco, San Diego and San Francisco. In 1956 I married Dixie Redden a JBHS grad. During our 14 year marriage we had 2 children. A girl, Jodi and a boy Michael. Between them, they gave Dixie and me 4 wonderful grandchildren, ages 13 to 21.From 1957 to 1962 I worked in the beer business, mostly for "Coors". November 22nd, 1962 was my last day in the beer business. We all know what happen on that day.

I then went to work for the Shell Oil Co, as a Sales Rep. All of my 11 years with them were in the L.A. and San Fernando Valley area. In 1974 I went into business for myself. I went into the restaurant and bar business. In 1997, after 23 years of building, operating and managing I was forced to retire because of visual problems. Needless to say, my golfing and driving a car days are over. I am still active, just not as much as I was in 1955.
