JOHN LOVRENSKY and ROMILDA

After graduating JBHS I went to work for Von's Grocery co. I also went to LA City college at night. I went into the army in 1958. I spent about two years in Germany. It was quite an experience. I meet my wife, Romilda two weeks after I got out of the service. We got married in Nov. 1962. My wife grew up in Arcadia Ca. We moved to Arcadia in 1963, we bought a home in 1968 and still live there today. We have three boys ages 42-37-24. After coming home from the army I went to work in construction, I worked as a heavy equipment operator. Then in 1967 I went to work for the LA County Department of Public Works, as a construction inspector. I went back to college ,first to Pasadena City College then to Cal State LA. I retired from the county in 2001 as a supervisor of contract construction. I stayed retired for three weeks , I wanted to try my hand in the private sector of construction. I went to work for Cleveland Wrecking Co. a subsidiary of Aman Environmental Co. as a Quality Control Officer. In 2003 I went to work for Freeman Alternative Resources Inc. an engineering co. out of Newport Beach. I enjoy working, maybe one day I will retire again. I'm looking forward to our 50 year reunion.

See you all there.
